Post Party!
Friday (6 June) Volunteers' Party was another success and it was great that so many volunteers attended the party. It's a great way of showing our appreciation for all the time, experience, loyalty and skills volunteers bring to the many third sector groups in Reading.
Did you attend the party? If you did I hope you had a great time. Let me know what you thought about the party and we may even include your comments on the NEW RISC website!
If there was anything you didn't like or you think we can improve on, let us know.
Next year will be the 10th party and we'd like to do something special, what would you like to see at your party?
Email me with your comments: leslee@risc.org.uk
Cheers, Leslee.

Volunteers Party! W'hay!

Hopefully you should already have the date of the volunteers' party in your diary, you do don't you? It's...5th June...you knew that! 7 till 11, upstairs at RISC, yeah yeah, you know that too, sorry for repeating myself...have you booked to come to the party though? No, you haven't have you? You do need to book a place if you want to come to the party because it's for all volunteers in the Reading area and we don't want to have to turn you away at the door now do we...
So, I expect to hear from you very very soon indeed. You can bring a friend but they have to pay £5 for the food. Any questions? Contact me ._.

moving...
This blog was created to communicate with risc volunteers and staff because it wasn't easy for me to add information to the main risc website. That's about to change! Nathan is building a new website which will allow each of the risc coordinators the opportunity to manage their own area. I'm really looking forward to having a section dedicated to volunteers and staff.
So I have question...what would you like to see included on the new risc website? Specifically the volunteers/staff area.
Feedback will be greatly appreciated. If we like your idea and it's something we haven't thought of already, we'll thank you personally on the website.
We'll probably keep this blog alive, however it'll probably only have a message with a link back to the new website.
Get thinking...
